i had nothing to do...

and people talk of the so called 'dilli ki sardi'! i, for one, am seriously dissapointed. a two day chill doesn't qualify as winter. barring, the last sunday and monday when temeratures dropped to 0.2 and 1.4 deg C respectively, the season was not that cold after all. although i fell seriously ill during this 'winter', twice(the 'chill' did it into me!), i was actually hoping for (now, this might seem farfetched) a little snow...if dubai can get it, why not delhi! but all i got to see was some frost. now, 15 days into january, the temperatures have risen to 27 deg C, during the daytime. it seems so hot these days. and people talk of the so called 'dilli ki sardi'!

anyways, college has started and quite amazingly i witnessed a class going on on the first day itself! now, this might sound quite normal elsewhere, but we in DCE are actually not used to it. on the contrary, our classes don't begin(we don't let them to!) until after a whole first week of bunk!

quite interestingly, we have got an amazing bunch of teachers and equally amazing subjects. the ghosts of 'communications' have raised their ugly heads again(i'm actually feeling scared guys...the subject took the hell out of me in 4th sem). and our teachers. the less i say, the better. there's one of them, who would so innocently say, "agar aap log bore ho rahe ho, to mujhe please bata de", and would not even think of stepping out of the class(even if we tell him to stop) before he has taught us every single second of the 2 hours(!!!) alloted to him. this guy is quite a character. he tells us to sit in the correct posture(sit straight, if you lean, he'll catch you) in his classroom(all through the 2 hrs!!!). he tells us to make notes(thats compulsary) and in a full blodded register(no diaries will do!!!)!!! no mobiles, no talking, nothing allowed. man, give us a break!

today was preety cool. different from other days. preparing for the cat in a group is actually very cool. six of us today indulged ourselves in a gd. and thanks to a friend among us, we couldn't gd, as he was hell bent on some information he had, and we differed! no one gave up! (it was such a silly topic, i better not tell). so that was our first gd! hopefully, things would be better the next time. and then someone came up with this very interesting idea. each of us would tell(publicly) one bad and one good quality about everyone else. and quite amazingly, all we could come up was with 100 vices and 0 virtues :) for everyone. we had to think very hard for the virtues. typically human, i would say. but it was fun. a pool(billiards) session followed and i lost dismally! anyways, a pretty different(read cool) day for me.
